A small press, on purpose

Pen Press was started on the idea that a book is a made object, not just a container for text. Every Pen Book is typeset by hand, proofed twice, and printed in runs small enough that we still know which ones didn't sell.

We've since started publishing screenplays too, under the same standard: an editor reads the whole thing before it goes anywhere.
